Supply Chain North East Case Study – Aura Infection Control

How the Supply Chain North East Project helped me…

Aura Infection Control are the market leaders in dental infection control and have been supplying innovative infection control solutions for the best part of two decades. Read on to find out how the Supply Chain North East programme helped them to increase their sales by nearly fifty percent!

Q. When did you initially become part of the Supply Chain programme?

A. By being involved in the SCNE programme, Aura Infection Control has become a much more recognised business across the region. Our sales figures have increased outside of the dental industry too; we have diversified and entered new markets such as transport, education and care homes.

I took away with a great level of useful information, pages upon pages of notes!

Would you recommend the programme to other businesses?

100% yes, without a doubt!

What recent developments / successes has your company attained?

By being involved in the SCNE programme, Aura Infection has become much more recognised business across the region. As a result, we have increased sales by 49%, all in new markets, which is very impressive. Our sales figures have increased in non-dental too. We also tapped into new markets such as transport, care homes and education.

What are your plans for the future?

We are currently in the process of launching a non-clinical training programme to organisations through Zoom. Training is key to effective infection control and these new sessions will be available for up to 14 members of staff. Furthermore, we have developed surface testing that allows facilities to test for traces of COVID-19.
