Members Hub: Frequently Asked Questions

Accessing the hub

I have forgotten my username and password. How can I request a reminder?

If you have mislaid or forgotten your log-in details, please email help@nepic.co.uk. Alternately, as we operate a one-company, one-log-in system, a colleague within your business may be able to assist you.

Do I need to log into Members Hub on each visit?

No. Our systems will remember your computer’s IP address and, if you don’t log-out, you will be able to access the hub on each visit without re-entering your log-in details.

Can I share log-in details with my colleagues?

Yes. We operate a one-company, one-log-in system. We wholeheartedly encourage the sharing of these details to ensure that your business maximises its membership via full company engagement.

Uploading a broadcast

Why should I upload a broadcast?

The Members Hub broadcast section has been created to encourage real-time sharing of your company’s news with fellow members. Through this function, you can promote your events, publicise a news story and encourage interaction through the generation of promotional offers.

Is the process simple?

Yes. Simply select the type of broadcast you wish to make – news, event or promotion – and complete the fields. Here you can also add an external link and an image.

What happens if I do not have an image to upload?

If you do not have, or do not wish to upload an image, then your company logo will be pulled from your on-line profile and displayed instead.

Can I preview before I publish?

Yes. To preview your broadcast, follow the preview button and review.

Can I amend an uploaded post?

This is a function that we hope to add but is not available through this release. If you need to remove or amend a broadcast, check out our top tips and Members Hub guide here or alternatively, email lucy.tyreman@nepic.co.uk

Will broadcasts be pushed out to members?

Yes. Each month we will promote your news, events and promotions to members via a weekly e-bulletin. We will also be keeping an eye out for great news stories to share across our social media platforms.

Updating your company’s profile

Can I update my company profile on-line?

Yes. Simply click on the orange ‘edit profile’ button to update. The pop-up form will populate with the details that we currently hold on your business. Through this function, you can make amendments and updates as regularly as you wish.

How is this information used?

The information contained within your company profile is displayed within the NEPIC on-line member’s directory and within the annual print Directory.

Can all site visitors view our main member contact details?

No. Information is only viewable by persons logged into the members’ hub. Please note: main member contact details are displayed within the printed directory.

Will I be reminded to update my profile prior to the print directory being generated?

Yes. All members will be invited to review and update on-line company profiles prior to the printing of the Directory in each June. This process commences in April of each year.

Uploading logo files

Can I update my company logo?

Yes. This function is also available via the ‘edit profile’ function.

What is a PNG file?

A file with the PNG file extension is a Portable Network Graphics file. This format uses lossless compression and often used to store graphics on websites.

Why does your site require PNG logo files?

The print directory is generated from the content contained within the NEPIC website, including the free display of your company. To ensure compatibility and quality, our systems require image files be uploaded as PNG files.

I don’t have access to design software. How can I save my logo as a PNG file?

There are two ways to save an image file as a PNG. Please click here to find out how – supplying a logo.
