Covid Policy

Ensuring your safety at NEPIC’s Meet the Members Conference & Exhibition 2021

To ensure the safety of our guests, teams, and suppliers, NEPIC is implementing a Covid policy for Meet the Members Conference & Exhibition that will require a negative lateral flow test at least 48 hours in advance.

We have implemented this measure to offer reassurance from a physical and mental health perspective, along with providing a safe environment for networking to resume, whilst doing all we can to protect business’s ability to continue to operate without disruption.

We have partnered with occupational health specialists, Recovery4Life, who will provide full support for this activity.

Information for Guests, Speakers & Mentors

  • All guests and suppliers will be asked to take a lateral flow test 48 hours in advance of the event and upload results to our event portal.
  • On arrival, all guests will enter the pre-registration tent where details will be checked. Here tests brought directly to site can be presented also.
  • Once confirmed, wristbands will be allocated, and guests can proceed to registration within the marquee as normal.
  • Small bottles of hand sanitiser will be provided to each guest. This provision is kindly being provided by ITS. Face masks will also be readily available.

  • Set-up/arrival on Wednesday 20 October: Exhibitors and suppliers will enter the pre-registration tent where details will be checked. Again, tests brought directly to site can be presented also.

In the event of an on-site positive lateral flow result

  • If a positive test result displays during an on-site test, guests will be asked to return home. A second lateral flow will be provided if requested.
  • NB. False positives typically occur when food or drink is consumed within 30 minutes of a test being taken. Smoking prior to a test is also deemed a factor.
