Innovation Masterclasses


As we enter the final stages of the ERDF funded Innovate Tees Valley programme, we want to work with you and your business to ensure you are armed with the knowledge, skills and tactics that will allow you to continue successfully on your innovation journey.

To help get you fired up and set to fly, we’ve developed a series of five, fully-funded innovation masterclasses with Nevil Tynemouth, Pascal Fintoni and Joy Brannigan set over 5 weeks covering road maps, marketing, PR, social media and market research.


Masterclass 1: Creating Your Innovation Road Map

Thursday 8 November | 09.30 – 16.00 | The Wilton Centre TS10 4RF

During this full day session we will work with you to explore your innovation journey and help you create an road map that will allow you to develop a clear action plan going forward. This highly interactive, hands on workshop delivered by innovation and sales specialist, Nevil Tynemouth, will identify all the touch points a business may have with a potential customer ahead of the launch of a new product or service; the often forgotten post launch contact and key points in the customer journey and how innovation can help that journey.

Masterclass 2: Practical Marketing & PR for Your Innovation

Thursday 15 November | 09.30 – 16.00 | The Wilton Centre TS10 4RF

Designed to make you think differently about traditional and digital marketing, and how to use them both to promote your new product or new service. This interactive masterclass will show you how to get better results from your PR activities, networking, direct marketing, website, social media and SEO.

Masterclass 3: Market Research Bootcamp, Session 1

Thursday 22 November | 11.00 – 13.00 | The Wilton Centre TS10 4RF

When you have an innovative new product or service it’s vital that you do your research to understand about competitors, market needs and trends, pricing, legislation and regulations and of course how to meet the needs of your target market. The Bootcamp is a short, focussed session that gives you the tips and tools to conduct your own research or be a more informed purchaser when sourcing and contracting market research support.

Masterclass 5: LinkedIn – Lead Generation for Your Innovation

Tuesday 4 December | 09.30 – 16.00 | The Wilton Centre TS10 4RF

This workshop is focussed on helping you promote, market and ultimately sell your innovation. Whether you have a new product or a new service Linked in is the place to get noticed, build relationships and generate sales. The challenge is how to use it and use it effectively especially when time is of the essence and the to do list is already long.
