Please join us on the afternoon of Thursday 15 March for your latest Pharma Connect event at NEPIC Sunderland.

Pharma Connect focuses on developing the Pharmaceutical and supply chain community through engagement, introductions, best practice sharing and networking.

Held on a quarterly basis and free to members, each get-together incorporates a round table introduction and updates from a pharmaceutical manufacturer, member-company SME and regional university.

This quarter, we will be joined by:

► Alastair Leighton, Site Director at Barnard Castle-based GSK, who will present the site’s extensive £100m expansion plans;

► Anant Paradkar, Professor and Director at the Centre for Pharmaceutical Engineering Science at Bradford University will showcase the college’s latest developments for the pharmaceutical sector;

► Dai Hayward, CEO of Micropore Technology, will explain how the company’s unique emulsification technology is being applied to the pharmaceutical sector to produce controlled particles and systems to combine and protect​ biocompatible active ingredients.
