‘People 2023 – The Series’ first event will feature industry leading guest speakers, breakout sessions, coffee & networking opportunities.

Open to all, this event is delivered by Northumbria University and the NEPIC Supply Chain North East programme. 

‘People 2023 – The Series’ will feature a physical conference on the 27th March at Northumbria University but will also include ‘Lunch & Learn’ virtual sessions throughout April with thought leaders on pertinent People topics including; mental health, wellness at work, menopause, return to work, equality & diversity, neuro diversity, occupational psychology and much more!

Our first event ‘Rewriting the Rules – Unlocking People Potential’ will feature a range of industry leading guest speakers, mini breakout sessions plus coffee and networking opportunities.

9.15 – 09:20 – Welcome & Opening remarks
09:20 – 10:00 : Simon Forsyth, Culture Lead GSK – Industry Leading Guest Speaker
10:00 – 10:05 – Sum up remarks – Alfie Joey
10.05 – 10.45: Panel Discussion debating current issues, challenges & opportunities . TO ‘ The challenge to unlocking people’s potential and industries responses to this challenge in their organisation/role’. Panel featuring industry leaders from Quotient Science, GlaxoSmithKline, Accenture & FIBA.
10.45 – 11.15: Coffee and Networking
11.20 – 12.20: Breakout Sessions – facilitated by :
– Karen Marshall, Accenture – ‘Let there be Change’
– Radmila Turner, FIBA – ‘From doping and match-fixing to managing bad behaviour, the value of integrity in an organisation’.
12:30 – 13:00: Experts insights, learnings & feedback from the breakout sessions
13:00 – 14:00: Optional Networking
