The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) is delivering the Engineered Surfaces & Materials SME Outreach Programme (ESM). ESM is a very successful initiative which has helped many SMEs and we want to celebrate & offer fully funded expert support to more SMEs.

Fully funded (ERDF) support for County Durham and North East SMEs is available at CPI’s state of the art formulation preparation and characterisation facility. Formulation is about making everyday products such as washing powder and ink, through to more complex and specialist industrial products by formulating and mixing raw materials.

SMEs can receive assistance on development of formulated products such as Coatings, Composites, Resins, Polymers, Textiles, Nano-enhanced inks. We invite SMEs to engage with us and find out how we could help you to develop your formulated product or process.
