The 2020 Hazardex International Conference, Exhibition and Awards event – co located with PPTex, will take place on February 26 and 27 at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, the elegant North Yorkshire spa town, north-eastern England.

All participants have been enthusiastic about the change in venue this year, with the Majestic Hotel, now a Double Tree by Hilton establishment, offering much improved facilities and accommodation.

The main focus of Hazardous Area Operations and Process Safety at the two-day event & conference will be complemented in 2020 with Personal Protection Technology (PPT) content, as well as coverage of the evolving areas of autonomous solutions and cyber security.

The event has led the way since launching in 2002, with prominent high hazard industry stakeholders addressing the conference, a similarly eminent roll call of presenters is in place for next year’s event that includes the HSE, Chemical Industry Association, IECEx, Chemical Business Association, Institute of Measurement & Control, UKPIA & logistics operator Brenntag. Click the speakers or programme tab above to see more.

The free-to-attend exhibition is an equally important element, with leading hazardous area sector companies displaying their products and services to the assembled professional audience. Register to attend now via the button above.

As in previous years, the event will include workshops, free seminar content, a networking dinner and awards ceremony, all aiming to strengthen and expand the community that looks to the Hazardex website and journal for industry intelligence and information.

The 2020 event will again provide exceptional opportunities for networking, with attendees from government agencies, regulators, certification bodies & training providers, consultants and product manufacturers meeting up with senior engineers and safety managers from the high hazard and process industry owner/operators to share their experiences.

Register to attend the exhibition for free or book to be a delegate via the relevant link above.

The informal, very well attended, evening Awards dinner includes a drinks reception and Gala Dinner at the end of the first day, designed to recognise excellence in the hazardous area sector and voting will be opened shortly. Nominations for the awards can still be made via the Hazardex website.
