Cluster Connect is your opportunity to catch up with members, hear the latest news, promote developments and network with your target audience.

This free, monthly meeting brings together members and offers the opportunity to make introductions, develop connections and gain support and inspiration from industry colleagues, along with helping to raise your personal and business profile.

Our June event is hosted by Member RelyOn Nutec in Billingham and will include a tour of their training facilities.

The theme of this event is “Business Challenges of 2023” and will cover the following topics:

• Support for Skills Gaps – Industry Training for the Energy / Process Industry – delivered by RelyOn Nutec. As the Process Industry advances, so must the training and upskilling offer. RelyOn Nutec will go through the options they bring to the table including the investment in future training provisions for the Sector

• Recruitment & Retention – 2023 – The Candidates Led Market – delivered by Jackson Hogg – One of the biggest challenges facing business today and one many members are changing business models to address. Find out how Jackson Hogg are supporting their clients to attract and retain their staff.

• HR Challenges in 2023 – delivered by HR2Day – Post Brexit and Post COVID, many SMEs now outsource their HR provision however, are you familiar with the changes in legislation and requirements as an employer? H2Day will go through these and more.

• Succession Planning – Case Study – Delivered by NEPIC Member Business – Our Case Study will be delivered by a member organisation who has successfully navigated the recruitment, retention, and skills gap challenges through active Succession Planning. As they share their knowledge and best practice, maybe other members can learn from those who operate a model that is protecting their business for the future.

This event is open to NEPIC members & Supply Chain North East participants.

Supply Chain North East brings together four key partners to work with over 800 businesses through to 2021, supporting them to identify opportunities in new and existing markets. An integral part of the North East Strategic Economic Plan, that has a vision to create 100,000 more and better jobs between 2014 and 2024. , Supply Chain North East is delivered across the region by RTC North, Generator, North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA) and North East Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC).

Supply Chain North East is a multimillion programme aimed at revolutionising the way SMEs diversify their offering and embrace new markets. The programme has received more than £3m of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund, which is part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
