Net Zero Teesside

Net Zero Teesside is a Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) project, based in Teesside in the North East of England. In partnership with local industry and with committed, world class partners, it aims to decarbonise a cluster of carbon-intensive businesses by as early as 2030. Each year, the Project plans to capture up to 6 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions equivalent to the annual energy use of up to 2 million homes in the UK.
