The Chemical Industries Association (CIA) is a national representative body for all chemical and pharmaceutical businesses in the UK. Our mission is to make the UK business climate as internationally competitive as possible to help boost chemicals and pharmaceuticals trade and investment. Our activities are split between influencing the policy agenda and the provision of practical advice and services to our members. Our policy agenda, delivered by recognised national and international experts, covers business-critical issues such as tax, trade, innovation, energy and climate change, safety, health and environment, product management, regulation, education, skills and employment. On all these issues we also offer hands-on practical support and deliver best practice sharing to improve business performance.
