In my role as head of technical, I lead the NEPIC technical team, manage our technical projects and work with members to encourage collaboration and growth within the chemical, process and pharmaceutical sectors. These sectors in the North East are experiencing rapid growth and undergoing a vast amount of change, and it’s important that our members work together to share best practice and support regional supply chains. Through our portfolio of technical events and activities, it’s my responsibility to bring members together to learn from one another and encourage constructive and collaborative conversations.

Born in Sunderland, my undergraduate degree was in chemistry, and I am currently in the final stages of completing a PhD in semiconductor physics with material science. I have been with NEPIC since January 2020 and I am extremely passionate about the North East and the sectors that we represent.
