If you’re going to enter the Tees Businesswomen Awards, your time is nearly up – with 5pm this Friday the deadline for entries or for big-hearted Teessiders planning to nominate a colleague, friend, supplier or client.
The Tees Businesswomen Awards celebrate the region’s female high achievers, culminating in an event in the Grand Marquee at Hardwick Hall on the evening of Monday, September 27.
Organised by Tees Business, the Tees Businesswomen Awards are again being held in partnership with Northern Skills Group, the apprenticeship and training arm of Middlesbrough College.
Businesses and individuals are encouraged to either enter the awards – or why not nominate a deserving businesswoman for any of the five individual categories?
Organisations don’t have to be solely run by women. We’re looking for female-led, female-inspired businesses for Business of the Year, SME of the Year (under 10 staff), Training and Apprenticeships Award or Best New Business, and a similarly driven charity for the Charity Award.
Nominated individuals don’t have to be business owners. They could be a rising star within an organisation or someone who is Breaking the Mould, carrying out work in a traditional “man’s world”. Or they could be Inspiring Others through the work they do to help others.

There are three category sponsorships available, which will give businesses publicity in the lead up to the event, during the ceremony and within the coverage and celebrations of winners after the awards. They will also be provided with the opportunity to get involved with the judging process.
