Read more >Teesside University is creating a new level 6 degree apprenticeship – Science Industry Process and Plant Engineer – a programme designed for those working in metal manufacturing, food processing, the brewing industry, oil and gas production or the chemical sector.
A science industry process and plant engineer apprentice will develop the knowledge to implement and develop new processes or plant and support product development – using project management skills to develop and manufacture products on time, on cost and to the right product quality. Through proactively identifying and supporting engineering solutions to challenging problems, they will be able to identify areas for business improvement and propose innovative ideas.
To be ready for launch in September, we are keen to consult with industry to ensure the content and delivery is suitable for your sector’s needs.
