If you’re interested in being part of a prospective new Centre for Doctoral Training, run by the Process Intensification Group at Newcastle University and the Green Chemistry Centre at York University get in touch with Professor Adam Harvey (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The Centre will take on 50 PhDs over the next 5 years. They will be trained to develop the processes, process technologies and green chemical routes that the process industries will need to achieve Net Zero. This will include meeting the challenges of new energy vectors (renewable electricity, hydrogen), new feedstocks (CO2, biomass) and new levels of data.
