BPE has joined forces with Industrial Technology Systems Ltd (ITS) to provide combined expertise to organisations in the life science, chemical and energy industries.
The two companies have signed a partnership agreement to work in close collaboration on opportunities within the three sectors. Together, they will offer a complementary range of specialist engineering skills and services from the early stages of process systems design, scale up and process development and optimisation through to the design and integration of fully-validated automation, process control and data visualisation solutions.
Noel Quigley, managing director at BPE, which has offices in Daresbury and Winchester, said:
“We’re thrilled to combine the strengths of both companies to offer a full-service to businesses within the life science, chemical and energy industries. The expertise and services we offer dovetail perfectly and that will be of real benefit to clients.”
BPE offers a full spectrum of process engineering design services and focuses on helping clients at any stage of a project. Whether a site is looking to scale up from the lab to a commercial scale plant, or investigate ways to optimise process efficiency, the team of engineering experts offer a range of consultancy services to assist.
ITS has been offering automation solutions in highly regulated industries since the company started in 1991.
Malcolm Knott, ITS’ Managing Director explains:
“As a specialist independent company we have developed strong partnerships with leading automation suppliers and gained an excellent reputation in the design and integration of validated process control, safety and automation solutions in the life science, chemical, nuclear and energy sectors.”
“We are delighted to announce our new partnership with BPE. The complementary services provided by both companies will enable us to work together to add value earlier in the projects by helping clients to optimise processes during the design and build, scale up and the manufacturing phases. Both ITS and BPE have very similar values, which should bode well for the future.”
