With a shared vision to create a strong local supply chain and local economy, and with a people-driven purpose, there are many synergies between these two businesses which on the face of it may not be immediately evident.
Both are dedicated to driving the future prosperity of our region, people, communities, partners, and suppliers in a positive direction and to growing sustainably. Just Williams and Mercury3 Consult have formed a partnership to work together and support one another’s growth ambition.
Mercury3 Consult are a Programme and Project Management company, established in Leeds in 2017. By providing People Driven Project Solutions, the business has grown significantly and in 2021, expanded further by opening a second office in the heart of Middlesbrough headed by Regional Director, Phil Crow. Phil is proud to hail from Middlesbrough and is a lifelong supporter of the region (and the football team) and has grown the regional office to five team members, including Chartered Management Degree Apprentice, Lucy Jeffers who is currently studying at Teesside University. Phil says “I started my working life in Middlesbrough and after many years of working across the UK, leading large teams, delivering successful projects, and embedding sustainable business change, I am delighted to be again working in the place I am proud to call home. As a business, Mercury3 Consult, have employed an excellent team from right here in the Northeast, who will consistently deliver for our clients, our customers, and suppliers, and who will support sustainable growth across the region”.
Mercury3 Consult have forged a strong record of delivery across the rail sector and have seen the opportunity to expand their people driven approach that offers clients a tailored solution to their project delivery needs. They have invested in growing the business in the Northeast and as part of supporting this they have connected with regional sales and marketing organisation Just Williams to help them in their journey. Just Williams were established in 2015 in the Northeast and have also seen a recent expansion with new clients and team members and investing in a Digital Marketing Apprentice. As an outsourced sales and marketing provision with its people at its core, Just Williams is an ambassador of a local supply chain and champion of business in the region. Jessica Williams, founder of Just Williams said ‘Working with an organisation with similar values and ethos to our own has been a privilege. Mercury3 Consult have a wide range of experience and skills, and with so many opportunities in our region, their expertise is well-positioned to support so many organisations, projects, and people’
Working together, these two organisations have one purpose in mind – To champion a local workforce, supply chain and support our region’s economic prosperity. Alan Beattie , founder of Mercury3 said “We are confident that our customer focused, tailored approach will add real value to businesses and organisations across the Tees Valley and North East Region and that confidence is reflected in the level of investment we have made in creating local jobs, being based here at the heart of historic Middlesbrough (in Commerce House) and working with fellow local suppliers to support growth”
Just Williams have been members of NEPIC for over five years and recommended Mercury3 to join following their ambition in the sector – since joining they have attended multiple Cluster Connects, Meet the Members and the annual dinner and seen first-hand what membership brings.
