High Tide has teamed up with national charity Speakers for Schools to reignite the wealth of exciting work experience opportunities and bring them directly to the young people of Tees Valley.
North East businesses can get involved by signing up to providing meaningful career experiences.
Speakers for Schools was founded in 2010 by ITV’s Political Editor Robert Peston with a mission to help level the playing field for young people of all backgrounds. The charity’s aim is to end educational inequality by giving all young people access to the same prestigious networks available to the top fee-paying schools in the UK. It provides talks from influential figures as well as work experiences linking state school students to industry-leading companies and networked support partners.
High Tide’s virtual programmes are open to all schools and colleges across the Tees Valley. They’re also simple to organise through our online platform and are delivered completely free of charge.
All sessions are full facilitated by High Tide and are delivered in partnership with Speakers for Schools and our growing network of businesses.
