Falck Fire Services UK is very pleased to announce that following a recent competitive tender process, it will continue to provide mobile CCTV technology and operators across the whole of the former Redcar Steelworks site.
Since April 2018, the mobile CCTV response service has further enhanced Falck’s prevention, detection and apprehension capabilities, proving a valuable asset in the operation of a much broader security response strategy with the aim of preserving the safety of people and property on the site. In retaining this key contract, the CCTV equipment will continue to complement Falck’s manned guarding provision renewed last year, providing South Tees Site Company Ltd (STSC) with a comprehensive approach to the security of their site.
Falck Fire Services Commercial Director, Paul Frankland commented:
“This is very good news as we truly value the relationship that has been built over some considerable time now between Falck and STSC. The equipment provides another mechanism through which we can preserve the site’s already strong security levels, whilst improving the body of evidence that can be used to assist the police to prosecute anyone unlawfully gaining entry on site with malicious intent.
We look forward to more exciting opportunities in the future where we can add value and play an active role in supporting positive development projects in the North East.”
