Wave are delighted to share that we were recognised at the UK Employee Experience Awards for our commitment to wellbeing and putting people first. The awards were extremely robust, consisting of a 2000 word submission and then a live in-person presentation and Q&A with a panel of judges.
We were proud to receive Silver in the Employee Centric Company Award, recognising our people-first culture, development programmes such as Living Leader and Aspire, and our ongoing commitment to listening to and supporting colleagues across the business.
The evening also saw our Director of People and Social Value, Jane Austin, receive Gold in the Leader of the Year Award. This national recognition reflects Jane’s outstanding leadership and her dedication to creating a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Reflecting on the awards, Jane said: “Last night was very special. Not only did Wave get a silver award for Employee Centric Company but I won gold for the Leader of the Year. This was a business leader award and I was nominated by Matt Hobbs and Lisa Davis who joined me to present to the panel of judges. Getting national recognition for the role I love doing is absolutely wonderful and I’m still grinning this morning.”
