Sue has sat on our board since 2018 and has worked closely with us to support the sector throughout our existence.

Sue retired in 2019 after spending 41 years working for the public sector, where she worked for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, before spending her last two years in employment working for the South Tees Development Corporation (now Teesworks) attracting potential investors to the site.

Sue now uses her knowledge in the skills sector as a member of the Education Partnership North East Board and as chair of Governors at Outwood Grange Academy, Bishopsgarth. She is also an associate of Tees Valley Business Club and received an OBE in 2014 for services to the North East economy.
