Emily joined our board in 2021, shortly after winning our Young Achiever Award at our Annual Industry Awards in 2019. Since 2018 she has been plant manager at Seqens Custom Specialities a top tier COMAH chemical manufacturing site based in Billingham and Middlesbrough.

Emily has a degree in chemical engineering from Aston University, during which she completed placements at Cummins and Bridgnorth Aluminium, as well as working at Caterpillar in her early career.

Throughout her time on the board Emily has worked on projects to encourage young people to take up careers in industry, planning the Future Leaders Network and has mentored aspiring STEM students through her work at Seqens. She is also a committee member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and a member of the IChemE.
