Steve Hill recently joined the Holme Beck Engineering team as an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (E, C & I) Engineer, bringing with him a wealth of industry experience. Steve’s role will be to help clients with innovative solutions for engineering requirements.
Outside of work, Steve spends his leisure time mainly playing and organising brass band music.
“I am the Principal Trombone for the Dunston Silver Band in Gateshead, as well as a Trustee of the Band Charity and the Treasurer,” Steve explains. “I am also Treasurer for the Durham County Brass Band Association and the Northern Regional Brass Band Trust.”
When he’s not playing trombone, most of Steve’s time is taken up by his two Labradoodles and dabbling in classic 1960/70s Triumphs when he can.
As an engineer, trombone player and motor enthusiast, it’s safe to say Steve is a triple threat.
We’re excited to have Steve – and his Labradoodles – as part of the team!
