Production company starts online events business as COVID-19 support

A Gateshead-based production company has launched a sister organisation to offer a range of services for conference and events organisers during the Covid-19 crisis.

North East Big Purple Productions works across the UK, producing events and creating a range of services for the meetings, incentives, conferences and events industry.

The company has created Big Purple Capture, which is now offering a range of services allowing meetings and conferences to take place – using the most up-to-date technology.

Director Sam Gordon said:

“The spread of Covid-19 has caused huge problems for event organisers, which is we decided to use our expertise to come up with a range of solutions so that events don’t need to be postponed or cancelled – they can be done virtually.”

The business is offering video production, event filming and live streaming, along with green screens and remote presenters, pre-recorded videos and live Q&A sessions.

Gordon added:

“If anyone is planning an event, a conference or an award show we can transform this into a virtual event to remember

“We are very proud of the fact that we are always thought of as industry leaders and we are hoping that with the launch of Big Purple Capture we will be proving that again.”
