Middlesbrough College Group and bp apprenticeship collaboration

Middlesbrough College and bp have agreed to collaborate on developing the content for a New Energy Apprenticeship Scheme.

The programme will train Operations Technicians for roles in new energy, focusing on the skills needed for the Teesside region’s low-carbon future.

Zoe Lewis CBE, Principal and Chief Executive of Middlesbrough College, said: “This programme aims to equip our students with the expertise needed in the emerging carbon capture and new energy fields, addressing the skills gap and supporting regional clean energy projects.”
