Hutchinson is a family-owned transport and commercial vehicle services business working across the chemical, industrial gas and bulk liquid sectors.
Our transport operation supports manufacturers, distributors and major supply chain partners with specialist UK distribution of chemicals, solvents, industrial gases and other bulk liquids. We are set up to respond quickly, adapt to changing customer requirements and provide the level of day-to-day communication that complex transport operations depend on.
The business is still led closely by the family, with brothers Rhys and Nathan Hutchinson directly involved in its day-to-day running. Customers deal with people who can make decisions, understand their operation and take ownership when something needs attention. That helps Hutchinson provide a more responsive service without adding layers of management between the customer and the people running the business.
Hutchinson Technical Services forms the second side of the business, providing commercial vehicle maintenance, repair, MOT preparation and specialist tanker support from workshops in Middlesbrough, Hull and Runcorn.
Bringing transport and technical services together gives Hutchinson greater control over vehicle availability, maintenance and downtime, while Hutchinson Technical Services also supports external commercial vehicle and tanker operators.
