When an ageing heat exchanger starts limiting production, a like-for-like replacement isn’t always the answer.
For this chemical manufacturing client, we were tasked with replacing a unit that had been in service for more than 20 years, while working within existing pipework constraints and a demanding four-hour batch process.
The solution? A bespoke heat exchanger designed specifically around the available space and increased throughput requirements.
