Children Challenging Industry (CCI) is the Centre for Industry Education Collaboration’s (CIEC) flagship initiative, connecting primary schools with local STEM companies through a programme of hands-on activities that inspires young learners, supports teachers, and strengthens links between industry and education.
As a long-standing supporter of Children Challenging Industry, NEPIC has played an important role in helping connect local STEM companies with primary schools across the North East for many years.
Demand for the programme continues to grow, with 25 primary schools across the North East currently on the waiting list, however, we are unable to offer these schools a confirmed place until we secure funding and collaboration from companies willing to support the programme. Every new business partner enables us to reach more schools, inspire more children to explore STEM careers, and strengthen the future talent pipeline for our region.
