Mike Walker Photography is an Architectural Photography business based on Teesside serving the Petrochemical, Engineering, Construction and Demolition business communities in the North East of England and UK.
Most business activities today rely on visual media in some form to showcase its operating principles, its products, services and developments. More importantly and especially for key development projects, Directors and key financial backers rely on progress reporting using photographs and video to publicise internally or to a wider audience to inform and garner continued confidence and support.
I support a variety of businesses and work with major International Petrochemical and Chemical manufacturers, National Construction and Demolition Companies professionally recording and showcasing that work. I have a wealth of experience and safety credentials in the Engineered projects field and a first-hand understanding of project development and construction phases.
I produce media tailored to a company’s requirements highlighting the benefits of a project and resultant improvements. My work showcases diversity, range and content in aspects of engineering, design, fabrication, construction, EHSS, project milestones/key events, commissioning, operation and demolition.

In short, I aid Directors, Managers and Engineers with their in-house communications and marketing processes.

 

I am a qualified Professional Photographer gaining Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers.

I have an extensive Project Engineering / Design background, predominantly on Top Tier COMAH Petrochemical, Construction and Industrial sites and understand complex projects, construction site workings, their hazards and safety requirements. I am flexible, very able to adapt to changing requirements and environments, have good communication skills and am able to readily integrate onto a site and work with minimal supervision.

I work on Top Tier COMAH Petrochemical, Construction and Industrial sites and have done for many years, and take site safety very seriously, holding the following Safety related passport and certificates:
• CCNSG: Valid Client / Contractor National Safety Group Safety Passport.
• NCSG CDM: The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
• IOSH Certificate: Managing Safely in the Engineering Construction Industry (Onshore).
• ECITB: Certificate: Supervisory Management Training & Development Core Module in Site Safety.
• Safe Working at Heights Certificate of Training.
• Safe Use, Inspection & Donning Safety Harness Certificate of Training.

Having worked in engineering design for most of my life I see structures, equipment and projects through both an engineer’s and photographers eye allowing me to produce striking and unique photographs for my clients.

As part of my workflow I often include Time-Lapse photography and video in some of my projects and I work with Pro DSLR\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s and multi axis motion equipment.
