Greenergy Biofuels Teesside Limited operates one of Europe's Largest Biodiesel plants using waste feedstocks only. The plant processes used cooking oil and waste fats into a renewable low carbon fuel. The plant also produces two co-products, Glycerine and Potassium Sulphate. The biodiesel produced at the plant is used to meet the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) targets with the aim of reducing greenhouse emissions from vehicles.
