NHS Innovations North

NHS Innovations North is part of a national network of NHS Innovation Hubs. Established in 2001, the hub champions the cause of healthcare innovation as well as identifying, developing and commercialising intellectual property (IP) which has been created by NHS employees. NHS Innovations North works with NHS staff in the North east to identify and protect ‘Bright Ideas’ including innovative services and devices that could be commercialised or shared to improve patient care. The team provides guidance and support from the early stages of the idea through to development and final product launch in the marketplace.
