With over 75 years serving Teesside freight requirements in feed stock and finished product supply chains, AV Dawson in Middlesbrough's Riverside Park operates 100 acre freight terminal incorporating; River Tees Quayside, Railfreight Terminals, a Container Terminal, and over 50,000 square metres of Warehousing and Project Fabrication halls. All operations are supported by the diverse haulage fleet of over 200 trailers. The North Sea Supply base now has 750m of operational River Tees berthing, with water depths of 8.5m below LAT, 50m high fabrication halls and cranes lifting up to 215 tonnes. The Ayrton Railfreight Terminal offers rail connected warehousing for steel, palletised and dry bulk products. It has a mixture humidity controlled, racked and flat storage warehouses. The second rail terminal is the Tees Riverside Intermodal Park (TRIP Terminal). The TRIP Terminal specialises in loaded container and iso-tank transfers and buffer storage, and related intermodal rail services. Both terminals benefit from Customs Bonded Status.
