MEET THE TEAM > Lynne Aungiers

Having worked in both public and private sector organisations, across many aspects of business; shipping, not for profit, charitable, NHS, chemical, social housing, amongst others, I landed at NEPIC in 2008 for a 12 month maternity cover and never left.

I can truthfully describe myself as versatile, which is likely the most important of life skills, but most definitely a necessity if you want to work for NEPIC. It really is from the sublime to the ridiculous, from the ‘glamour’ of Westminster to slogging through event badge making for 300 + delegates. There’s no time for being precious in this job.

It is a bit of a cliché but we are a good team and I have had many great experiences and developed a significant network of contacts in my role as the NEPIC Office Manager and PA to Iain Wright. The title belies the actual nuts and bolts of the role, which is where the versatility bit comes in. The focus of the day can change in a heartbeat and we find ourselves in the midst of a reactive storm, so it’s fair to say, I (we) work hard to ensure NEPIC fulfils its promise to the membership.

Alongside being first line contact for Iain, I am here to help with any queries you may have re NEPIC’s office facilities, administration, event management and delivery and whatever else comes my way.
