The NEPIC board of directors today announces the resignation of Iain Wright as its chief executive officer. Iain joined the business in June 2017 following the retirement of long standing CEO, Dr Stan Higgins OBE.
Iain will depart NEPIC by early summer to take on a newly created role within the Institute of Chartered Accountants. We thank him for his contribution – particularly in relation to strategy and budget planning for the coming period – and wish him well in his new venture.
NEPIC Chairman, Ian Swales, added:
“I am sorry to see Iain go but can understand him accepting the approach from his professional Association. Iain has set the course for the future and I fully expect NEPIC to go from strength to strength.”
The board will meet before the Easter break to discuss a smooth transition to a new leader, whilst remaining focused and committed to its member organisations, partners and established team of staff.
