Responsible for Bilfinger UK’s Integrity Engineering Division, Hamish designed, delivered and continuously manages Bilfinger’s UKAS Accredited Management Framework.. In his capacity as Chair of the TAC, Hamish will support UKAS to coordinate the technical advice from professional bodies, accredited organisations, customers and regulatory bodies focussing on the development and operation of UKAS activities in the engineering inspection sector.
He said: “I’m delighted to have been asked by UKAS to be the Chair of their Engineering Inspection Technical Advisory Committee.
“While regulatory requirements, industry standards and guidelines may be fixed, our approach to meeting the core content of those standards must evolve, especially in this digital age with advancements like AI.
