What does NEPIC do?

The North East of England Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC) is a not-for-profit membership organisation that supports the needs and interests of the process sector in the North East of England.

We are the largest process cluster in the UK, comprising of more than 4,000 companies, which generates over £75.2 billion in turnover each year and supports more than 500,000 jobs.

We focus our efforts on working closely with member companies, universities, research institutes and public bodies, to forge meaningful business relationships that allow us to identify opportunities to leverage additional value for the industry, facilitate connections, promote collaboration and enable growth.

How do I join?

Joining is simple, complete our membership form here and our team will process your application and be in touch with details of the next steps.

Can any business become a member of NEPIC?

Any company that supplies to the process sector or wishes to become a supplier can join NEPIC. Our membership is broad and diverse and includes a wide range of business types, including multinational firms, startups and sole traders from both within the region and beyond.

Is membership individual or on a company basis?

Membership is on a registered company basis.

How are membership fees calculated?

We offer multiple packages with fees calculated based on number of company employees.

What do I receive upon joining?

New members are welcomed with an email detailing everything you need to know about your membership. You will also receive login details for the NEPIC Member Hub, enabling you to start sharing your news and events to our membership platform. To help introduce you to our network, all new members are given the opportunity to present at one of our monthly Cluster Connect events.

Will my membership allow me to attend every NEPIC event?

Your membership grants you access to our full calendar of events including our free monthly Cluster Connect meetings. In addition, members have access to reduced priced tickets to our technical events, Annual Industry Awards dinner and our flagship event, Meet the Members.

Can I come to an event to see if I like it before I join?

Non-member tickets are available for purchase at each of our technical events, Annual Industry Awards dinner and Meet the Members.

How do I make the most of membership?

Upon joining our network you can enjoy full member benefits including attendance at our regular events, access to our Member Hub where you can upload news and events and gain access to exclusive resources.

Will my membership renew automatically?

Membership of NEPIC is annual and set up on a rolling basis. Invoices for the following membership period are issued one month prior to the end of your membership year.

What is NEPIC’s cancellation policy?

Membership of NEPIC is purchased on an annual basis. Unfortunately, cancellation cannot be processed part way through a membership period and refunds cannot be issued. Cancellation must be received in writing and will become effective as of the date of the request.

How do I log into the new NEPIC website?

Login instructions for our new website should now have been issued to your inbox. Follow the instructions carefully to gain access to your Member Hub dashboard and begin to take advantage of the benefits our membership has to offer! If you have any issues, please contact enquries@nepic.co.uk.
