What are the NEPIC awards?

The NEPIC Annual Awards celebrates the outstanding achievements of the companies and individuals who make up the chemical-processing industries in the North East of England.

During a glittering award ceremony held at Hardwick Hall in in January of each year – and witnessed by some 450 industry leaders – winners and guests alike enjoy an evening of celebrations and networking.

There are seventeen awards up for grabs that fall under eleven categories and have a staggering total prize fund of £26,000; £18,000 of which will be donated to local STEM education projects. Applications and nominations for the 2020 awards will open in September under the following categories:

– Apprentices of the Year
– Young Achievers of the Year
– Environmental Award for North East Primary Schools
– Corporate Environmental
– Small Business of the Year
– Apprenticeship Employer of the Year
– Communities & Reputation Award
– Engineering Firm of the Year
– Innovation Award
– Manufacturer of the Year
– Outstanding Contribution

What together have we achieved?

Since the NEPIC Annual Industry awards started 13 years ago, a phenomenal total prize fund of £257,000 has been donated. Sixty-nine local schools have received £156,000 in support of STEM related projects, and the region’s young stars have received £95,000 between them. A further £6,000 has been donated in support of export mentoring.
