For over a decade we have supported the Centre for Industry Education Collaboration’s Children Challenging Industry programme which aims to highlight STEM opportunities to young people, specifically primary schools, by building visible links between science education and its application in industry and related careers.
In doing so, we have donated tens of thousands of pounds to support children in STEM learning and have helped the charity create strong relationships with NEPIC member companies, who in turn have provided their own significant donations.
If you’d like to get involved with Children Challenging Industry and support your local primary schools, you can find out more about the programme below.

For 10 years we have supported Teesside-based charity, High Tide Foundation as one of their members.
The High Tide Foundation is an independent charity that aims to connect classrooms to careers across the Tees Valley, delivering work experience and career programmes to local schools, colleges and young people.
Their programmes provide unique and life-enriching experiences that help the younger generation engage with employers, increase understanding of career opportunities, improve skills and raise aspirations.
With as little as 45minutes of your time, you can support a High Tide workshop, helping educate young people on the fantastic careers available in Teesside. The foundation is wanting to showcase a variety of job roles, from a diverse range of sectors.
If you’d like to get involved with High Tide Foundation and support young careers across Tees Valley, you can find out more about them below.
"Without an organisation like NEPIC providing the links, there would be less communication and collaboration opportunities."
