Located in the state of Gujarat, about 160km north of Mumbai, VAPI Industrial Estate offers ideal location for Chemical Industries. Basic Raw Materials are easily available as VAPI is very well connected by road and rail to Mumbai, Baroda and Ahmedabad. VAPI offers good infra structural facilities for industries in terms of uninterrupted power, Water, Effluent Treatment Facility and Solid Waste Disposal site. The Common Effluent Treatment Plant at VAPI is one of the largest in the country with a treatment capacity of 55 million litres per day of liquid effluent.
With a number of good schools, colleges, well equipped hospitals and recreational facilities, VAPI provides attraction for talented workforce from all over the country. All this has made VAPI home to over 1,500 small and medium scale operating units producing various kinds of chemicals, drugs, dyes and pigments.

NEPIC has excellent links and personal relationships with the main companies within VAPI and regularly arrange visits and missions to the area as well as hosting visits from Indian companies to North East England.
