Suape Port Industrial Complex - Pernambuco State - Brazil
Pernambuco is a state in North East Brazil which is rich in natural and economic resources. To take advantage of the potential involved the Suape Port Industrial Complex was formed to enable public and private entities to work together with a strategic view towards accelerating growth in the region. New steel mills, an oil refinery, a shipyard, and a petrochemical complex together with the associated infrastructure are being commissioned and constructed in an exciting development phase in the port complex. NEPIC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the complex and encourages and facilitates its member companies in fostering links and developing trade with this region.
