Engagement

NEPIC offers schools exciting and curriculum enhancing activities that provide pupils with an understanding of STEM and how it links with the working world. Many of the activities we offer include opportunities for pupils to interact with people working in the Process Industry in our region and many also include visits to chemical plants across the region. Several activities also take place in laboratories within our regional universities, so providing pupils with a view as to what life might be like if they choose to study these subjects further.

Our diary/calendar of events is produced annually and is circulated to all schools in the North East Region to assist schools and colleges to plan the extension and enrichment activities that they would like to be involved with. In addition to the activities mentioned above, we also plan and deliver ‘tailor made’ programmes for schools /colleges and community or other organisations.
