There are a number of useful resources online for STEM Ambassadors, and the new STEMNET online resource forum should provide a central place for all useful information. Until this is launched, here are a range of links that may be of use to STEM Ambassadors:

Young Engineers for Britain
YEB organises a range of engineering challenges and competitions for young people across the UK. If you’re interested in getting involved in some of these activities, they are always looking for industry volunteers to help out at www.youngeng.org
British Science Association
The British Science Association runs a national scheme for 11-19 year olds, who complete science or technology based projects as part of an After School Club or other out-of-lesson activity. STEM Ambassadors can provide expert knowledge about a subject for these students, and may also offer a site tour, or be a mentor throughout the project: www.britishscienceassociation.org/crest
