How to Enrol

To enroll as a STEM Ambassador, there are three simple steps to follow:

• Firstly, you should register online at https://db.stemnet.org.uk/register.cfm Please remember to choose the Northumberland as your preferred STEM Ambassadors Administrator.
• Secondly, you will attend an induction session, which will prepare you for working with schools and young people and give you a taste of some of the activities that you could get involved in. NEPIC will be in touch shortly after you register to arrange this training.
• Finally, you will be required to complete a CRB check before you can go into school. This usually takes place during your induction session and can take up to 3 weeks to be returned. Please see the CRB website for more information: www.crb.gov.uk , or get in touch if you have any questions about this step.

That’s it! When you’re a fully registered STEM Ambassador, you will receive information about forthcoming activities in the Northumberland area that you can take part in.
