Welcome to the education pages of the North East Process industry Cluster (NEPIC). We are an industry led organisation that is heavily involved in education across the region, interacting with many thousands of young people from the age of 5 through to 19 and beyond, to inspire, motivate and inform them about the process industries of North East England.

As you can see from other parts of our website, our membership is drawn from across the whole of the chemical manufacturing industries and includes the supply chain that is essential for the success of these businesses. All of these businesses have one thing in common - they all need high calibre people working within the business to maintain their high standards of performance. This means that they need to ensure that young people coming through education have an understanding of our industry sector and of the STEM related subjects that are an integral part of our world, and that they will choose to join our industry in sufficient numbers to maintain an effective manufacturing sector.
