International Collaboration
NEPIC provides a focal point for the North East of England Process Chemical Industry’s ambition to increase its international trade and attract new investment into the region.

NEPIC’s Marketing and Trade Steering Groups, made up of representatives from local industry, provides the NEPIC team with advice on which markets will give the best opportunities for NEPIC’s members to achieve success in international trade and attract inward investment.
Guidance and advice on all aspects of international trade is available to members. NEPIC works closely with the UK Trade and Investment team producing scoping documents and market surveys to provide its members with a head start when entering a new market. The UK Trade & Investment’s OMIS scheme, the Overseas Market Introduction Service, is a powerful resource and one that’s vital for companies looking to export to a new market. The scheme provides market research and introductions to the right people within a target market to help NEPIC members achieve their export goals.
NEPIC also attends a comprehensive range of international events to market the region’s skills and company expertise in the Process Chemical sector. In conjunction with UKTI and One North East many member companies have been supported in promoting their products and services alongside NEPIC at various exhibitions, with great success.
NEPIC's Partner Clusters
NEPIC has partnered with similar cluster organisations in various markets around the world. Memoranda of Understanding have been signed which provides the framework and guidance to enable member companies to explore opportunities with their counterparts in other clusters.
