About NEPIC

NEPIC was created by leaders from the Process Industry to provide the mechanism for intimate collaboration. NEPIC's leadership team recognise that any vision for the process sector must have internal and external dimensions. Internally, a desire to change perceptions of those within the region's industry away from accepting the status quo and away from an outdated belief that individual companies have little influence on the state of the industry in the region.

Internal Vision Statement

“The Process Industry in North East England moves to a condition which is one with a more collaborative industrial and academic environment, which will create a more compelling interactive and proactive business community.”

Within the region this assists the leaders of indigenous companies to become ambassadors for the industry and the region. With the support of their peers, they feel more confident in their ability to promote the region as a competent and knowledgeable community capable of supporting new investments.

External Vision Statement

“By creating more engagement and opportunities to share experiences, we will develop a more proactive environment that is much more "attractive" to any decision-makers looking into the region.“

NEPIC provides the mechanism for intimate collaboration enabling a compelling value proposition to be developed for investors. As well as providing industry leadership on strategic priorities, the cluster identifies ways to compete in the global market place.
