CHEMICAL REACTIONS

NEPIC CheMystery demonstrations are offered an a first come, first served basis to schools between September and March each year and are at no financial cost to the school.

The shows are aimed to introduce or reinforce the topic of chemical reactions and rates of reaction.

The hour long shows contain various chemical reactions including exothermic, endothermic, redox, reversible, thermal decomposition, neutralisation and luminescence and are presented as a Magic Show.

A CD containing the recipes and explaining the chemical reactions is available for the teachers

The demonstrations have been risk assessed by Geoff Bell using the RSC format and are reviewed annually.
