Resource Efficiency

Why worry?

All successful businesses manage their finances very effectively. Without these controls the business could run out of cash, overspend against earnings and sooner or later would find themselves out of business.

When it comes to management of resources manufacturers need to be just as well organised and fully in control, otherwise the operation can run out of control. Every kilogram of raw material, kilowatt of energy, or litre of water that is not being utilised fully in the manufacture of a product results in waste, and so brings with it a double hit as the material has to be paid for, as well as the cost of disposing of the waste that results.

As the world’s resources are depleting the availability of materials, energy and water will diminish, costs will rise (including those for waste disposal) and your business will suffer.

What can you do?

A business wide awareness, with senior management commitment is required to ensure that your business can continue to develop in an efficient and sustainable manner. At NEPIC we can help you to understand where the opportunities might arise, who can provide the right help to solve your problems and how your business can become world class in the field of Resource Efficiency.

Contact us for more information, or to arrange an on-site discussion to begin the process of improving your resource efficiency by emailing Ian Findley on idfindley@aol.com.
